The plaque begins: " In 1852, Robert and Sarah Dean Warner brought their family to Texas from Ireland. As members of the Peters Colony, they acquired land in this area and established a farm. This family graveyard was begun upon the death of Robert Warner, Jr., in 1873."

Eliza Larkin was a Larkin by marriage, and lived 67 years. Her husband, William L. Larkin, lived another ten years after her death, and is buried next to her body.

Robert Warner Sr. was the patriarch of the family, the man responsible for the move from Ireland to Texas. While his son died young, at 36, Robert himself lived to be 80, dying less than two years later. His body is buried between his son's on one side and his wife's on the other. His wife, Sarah, died just over a year after he did, and lived to be 75.
