• Judy's first visit to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. She's ready to start walking.
• My daughter Emily sparkles!
• My kids call this "rock" but I think it's native Texas limestone.

Geology is not my thing.
• Benjamin poses on a bridge for Judy.
• Kent was snapping pictures of his wife as she sat on the edge of a cliff, while the wind was doing its level best to steal Judy's hat.
• My daughter Grace ran back from the main group to tell us to hurry up, then set back out to catch up.

Of course, I lingered long enough to snap this.
• We had a lot of cameras, but my son Benjamin had to use the camera built into my iPhone.
• I can only imagine what a frustrating day of fishing that must have been!
• Two days before Spring officially started, this lone berry was hanging on.
• This is not a path I'd want to take come nightfall.
• Around and around and around he went.
• I borrowed Judy's hat when it--and the wind---interfered with her getting a shot. I then stored it on my own head when taking this shot of Emily.
• Grace was posing for Judy. I tend to enjoy shots of people looking their best, but not for me.
• An assortment of traditionally-dressed ladies were enjoying the park.
• My daughter Grace snatched my camera long enough to take a few pictures, including this one of me.
• I pointed out to my daughter that she was holding the camera at a slight angle, suggesting she correct it. Instead, she tilted the camera to about 45º, which I think declared a "jaunty" angle, and decided I like.
I may use this as my new profile picture for a while.
• Just little later in the day, and this might look very ominous indeed.
• The water level is much, much lower than we remember from previous years. My son is not happy about it.
• Spring isn't for two more days, but this park is getting a head start.
• I called my daughter's name, and got this semi-glare in response. Beautiful!
